M7 Aerospace Introduces Gulfstream III Potable Water Kit
San Antonio, TX – November 21, 2006
M7 Aerospace has announced the introduction of a new Potable Water System Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) modification for Gulfstream III Model 1159A business jets. The STC replaces potable water systems originally installed on some Gulfstream III (G-III) aircraft. . The original systems are prone to leakage and other service problems.
The M7 STC replaces a bleed air pressurized water tank with a new non-pressurized 20-gallon tank to provide hot and cold running potable water in the aircraft's galley and lavatory. The new system provides water flow from an on-demand electric pump and includes a new water quantity indicating system.
M7 initially developed the Potable Water STC to replace bleed air pressurized water tank installations in C-20 aircraft operated by the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps. C-20 is the U.S. Government's designation for Gulfstream III and Gulfstream IV business jets. M7 provides contractor logistics support for a fleet of 21 C-20 aircraft operated by the four U.S. military services.
The new M7 G-III Potable Water System STC is available through M7' Parts and Product Support business unit. M7 also offers installation of the Potable Water System STC at its Part 145 Repair Station on the San Antonio International Airport.
